Thanks. It helps a lot. I know a little German. I figure I will just guesstimate the diameter of the RPG and see how it looks.

The best I can offer for the MG3 is:

overall length: 1,225mm (48.2")

length without stock: 1,097mm (43.2")

barrel length: 565mm (22.2")

Here is also a link with drawings of the main components. Unfortunately its in german. I hope this helps.

Dimensions of M1919, RPG-7, and the MG3?
Posted by Mad Matt on Sunday, March 15, 2009 8:21 PM

I was wondering if anyone had good resources as to the 1:1 dimensions of the Browning M1919, RPG-7, and the Reinmetall MG3? I am currently contemplating building a "Death Race" style Chevelle, a (1:24) 1970 427. I figure it'll be a good project for getting back into the hobby, from a year and a half haitus, because I never finished anything because I rushed and screwed stuff up... I think I'm up to the challenge now. If anyone has any links to resources with the dimensions, please post. Thank you everybody.
