I'm attempting to scratchbuild an electronic operator/ASW station for a Seaking helicopter in 148 scale and cant find resin or decals to accommodate, so I'm looking to make one. Any help on making an electronic counsel, it doesn't have to be overly accurate as it is partially hidden by other structures but I would like it look close. Any ideas?

In 1/72, a decal .., IF you could find a sheet that even had that, or you could spend hours and hours making your own. By the time you get up to 1/48 though, textures and structures are evident, so you have to go three dimensional. Or at least that's how it seems to me.
Which is one reason I stick to 1/72, and smaller! airplanes.

I'm not 100% sure, but that may be a Brit or Canadian Sea King interior. I think the USN aircraft only had one operator. If that doesn't bother you, you should be ok there. OBTW, the word you're looking for is "consoles" not "counsels."
At one time Eduard did have a PE set (altho, IIRC it focused on the exterior so it may not help at all), so maybe if you keep looking on eBay, perhaps, you may find something.
Hi ICIT; I think I have an answer for you. Do you go to flea markets?? If you do ,try there for some 1/48 scale bomber types and if they,re glue bombs(don,t let the name fool you) You can strip the electronics from B-17s or B29s or even fighters to get where you want to be.This is how i detailed my 1/48 HUEY. tankerbuilder
