Scratch Building Bell 206 B3 - My first

Thank you.  Took alot of sanding, filling and some more sanding to get it to this stage.  I built the skids, made the material for the interior and carpetting yesterday.  Hopefuly I can spray fill the exterior today.  Its roughly scale 1:24.  You got any pictures of some models you built?

My progress so far.  Spray painted the exterior and skids with spray filler last night.  This will fill up small holes while hi-lighting any problems.  Then filling and sanding again (uugh).  I want to start painting the interior and installing the carpets which I made from cloth with the correct grain which I colored and then starched.

Built the skid steps and started building the main rotor head also last night.

By the way the long stick sticking out of the maintransmission deck is not part of the model.  Just added it as it allows me to handle the model better. Hahahahaha

I hope you are casting resin copies as you build this thing...you could sell it as a resin or limited run plastic kit.

Wow, what an incredible build!  There is a specific helicopter area on this forum, as well as the ARC Discussion Forums, where your craftsmanship would be greatly appreciated.  There is a very limited amount of larger scale rotorcraft available,   Many emergency services modelers would be interested in your project, as the 206 and 206L4 are used by many public service(EMS and law enforcement) agencies.  I look forward to future updates.
