For larger diameters I buy through USPlastic, acrylic rod & tube. http://www.usplastic.com/

Otherwise it's Evergreen, Plastruct, & Midway from the LHS.

I notice you are from MN- I'm in minnieapolis can you recommend any stores in the area.

I am just trying to build WW1 biplanes

Thanx

Hub Hobbies in Little Canada and in Richfield carry a good line of styrene tubing and rods, both Evergreen and Plastruct.  Scale Model Supplies at Lexington and University carry extensive supplies of stuff for scratch builders, all the styrene stuff and a good supply of brass and aluminum stock.

Not sure what you mean by "curved" shapes.  Do you mean tubes and rods?

yes tubes and rods--where can i order them online

My guess is that there is such a tremendous selection of rods, tubing, angles, strips, etc.  that many online sources may not want to have that much inventory, nor take that much catalog space.  You may be better off ordering online from the sources- Plastruct and Evergreen.  Try googling their trade name. I know one of the two has online ordering- I have done it, but forget which one it was.
