Scupting a vehicle tarp from Apoxy Sculpt
Posted by K-dawg on Monday, January 9, 2012 4:33 PM

Just a few photos of a little tarp I finished recently. It's for the Trumpeter BTR-60PB. I used Apoxy Sculpt rolled out very thinly and draped into place. Went back and filled out the folds and wrinkles once I had a solid base to work on.

HOWDY , NEIGHBOR ! That looks real good . I usually make tarps for large ships and yachts out of BRAWNY PAPER TOWELS soaked in ALEEN,S white craft glue . I stretch them over the frame and before it sets I put the wrinkles in it .       tankerbuilder
