Hi All

Brief intro; I am new to this forum having just joined up today. I have just retired & looking forward to some time on my hobby, model engineering, I am planning to convert my garage into a workshop & have some tooling - CL 500 combo lathe /Mill plus accessories etc.

My question is; I have been given a 1/35 scale, part completed model (scratch built  in aluminium) of a K5e WW2 rail gun 'leopold'  by an ex colleague/ mentor who had sadly past away last year, unfortunately there were no scale plans/drawings included with the model so I am at a loss without ref. to dimensions to continue on with this fine model. So far I have , barrel, breech, main frame, 1 truck  & 24 wheels.

I have Googled for any plans relating to this model  also many other modellers clubs without success but cannot believe there are none around, there must be somebody out there that has built one of these & has a set of scale drawings that can be copied, I will gladly pay for any costs incurred, inc postage.

Any help will be greatly appreciated. TIA

There is a good plastic model of that gun by Dragon, look here:

maybe you could then copy the parts you need from the plastic version.
