I'll be looking into this thread. I saw the tipper and the excavator that you built. Very nice!

Hi,

after finishing the wooden model of MAN TGA tipper I said to myself, that my next project will be something a little bit more easier. Well, it didn't end like that Big Smile At the end, I decided to build complexed model of bulldozer Caterpillar D8R, which is on my mind for several years.

Currently the model is in design phase. 3D computer model is almost ready, only blade and ripper are missing. Final model will consist of more than 1000 wooden pieces, made mainly of maple and walnut wood. Among lots of moving parts, the biggest challenge will definitly be the tracks.

Bye from Slovenia,

Primoz
