Hmm;a two x four.

I have this piece of wood .

 It's an OLD two x four . That means it is 2x4 . Now what do I do with it ? I sawed one end off on the wide side at a shallow angle . I sawed the other end with angles on both sides . Verticle to the wide side .Hmmm , Looks like a ship .

    Done six weeks later . Used a plane to create the sheer line and deck camber . Sealed that puppy with Spa varnish sealer coat .Three coats .Two of varnish and then paint .

 All the items on board , found items and scraps .The cargo booms ? A selection of small dowels .Kingposts the same . Deck houses ? Little basswood blocks laying around doing nuthin . Rails .Dollhouse finishing nails and fine copper wire .

    Result , A ship talked about a lot here .A C-3 Class freighter . Hmmm , Amazing what a Two x Four can become isn't it ? Gave it to my neighbor for Christmas . He Retired from MARAD last year as a Chief Engineering Officer ..  I called her the " Oregon Endeavor " ( He's from Eugene . OR. ) T.B.

Hello T.B.!

You know what they say nowadays... This thread is worthless without pictures!

Good luck with your builds and have a nice day

Oh Pawel !

   You just won't give me a stretch here . I am trying guy , but no luck yet . I have failed to move pictures from photobucket to here more than once . Hitting something wrong I guess .

   Note; My landlady tried  . Her icons and toolbar ( same system ) is totally different from mine . Go figure .Could it be because I have Seven ? T.B.

I have given up on photobucket.  They load so many ads on now that you cannot do anything, like uploading your images!  It has just become an ad viewer, one-way-line.  Most of what people recommend on these forums is pay service, but I am still trying hard to find a free photo hosting site.

Hmmm;

  I just wish there was a way to post my pics from here . Like a code or something in the password or such .That way the moderators would definitely know who's posting . Going to this place and that place when I already have them here doesn't make a lotta sense to my . P-bucket already lost my photos for Scale Auto ! T.B.

TB - running 7 myself, so that short tutorial should work for you.  Try having her read the PM I sent on it, and work from your computer.  If that works, then you can write down exactly how she does it and go from there in the future.  Also willing to load them if you pull them from the pics side of your computer and email them to me.

T.B. - so what's your username on photobucket? I bet if I knew where your photos are on the net I could post them here. Or maybe you could do this: open photobucket with your photos and copy the contents of the address bar of your browser and paste that in the reply. I will work from there. what do you say? Good luck and have a nice day
