Evergreen Plastics stockists in Northants
Posted by KarlRhodes on Monday, July 31, 2017 7:09 AM

Hi all,

Can anyone tell me if there's anywhere that stocks the Evergreen plastics range in store in Northants (UK), preferably close to Wellingborough?

I know that ModelsForSale sell it but they don't have a shop front that I can just turn up to and pick the bits I want.

Thanks

Karl I live in Buckingham and go to Trinders Model Shop in Banbury, North Oxfordshire, 01295 251270. They have moved down the road which is just off the main shopping street. 56-59 Broad Street, but have had to muck in with their toys/prams etc into a smaller premises.

If you want anything modeling I should phone first to save a journey.

I normally but Evergreen from Fred Aldous online, and have it delivered and save a 36 mile round trip.

Unfortunatly Karl there are not that many Brits on here so we are spread rather thin. I tend to get mine from hattons online, they have a good selection.

But some model shops may sell an alternative brand. Ours sells then in single pieces rather than packs, so could try looking for others.

I found myself in Northampton today and spent a small fortune on Plastruct instead at the Model Shop on Wellingborough Road...

There does seem to more far more in the Evergreen range, but when I have to buy packs of 10 it can get REALLY expensive buying online when I need to buy various different sizes.

Thanks for the suggestions though. At least I have some ideas for the future should I need anything that Plastruct don't do.

I have some of the Plastruct stuff, they do smaller rod than evergreen. With evergreen i just buy a few packs every so often and build up a stock of it, always handy to have in.
