for anyone who is interested,

here is a link to see all the carrier based aircraft by grumman in 1/48th scale I have built so far.

I know they are "rough" and not perfect. but I am trying to keep it fun

I have been working on biulding all of the Grumman Carrier fighters in 1/48 scale and thought for the F3F-2 I would try making a scratch built solid version.

So I bought the plans from aeroplans.com and printed them out at 1/48 scale.

To make it harder than plastic I made this at work while waiting for files to transfer, waiting for feedback and etc.

So like 5 minutes a day over a 2 month period. Unperceptable amount of progress, but I am here everyday so I thought I would see what I could do.

I have a complete model biulding supply at home I could have used, but again I needed a challenge.

So attached is a youtube video slide show showing the process. I took as many pictures as possible.

also is a link to the high res photos if anyone is interested.
