I assume from that rig that when you got a pie they warmed it up for you? And I believe yer right. That sure looks like a lightweight Buggy rig for wheels and suspension.
Our old Buggy,which we still used for Parades into the fifties was a four place landau.We got it used from the Local Undertaker when he bought a Motorcar Hearse and Family car.
We kept it till the barn Burned in 1956. The prevailing winds caused the loss of two barns and the house on Christmas morning . Tis Life! City living after that. I used to be the one to rig it out for rides because the Percheron Team had been my 4-H project! All of Thirteen years old!
