Thanks so much for sharing these images and your research, Graham! I'm currently writing a biography and this information has come in very handy for my book (the subject fondly recalled the OK pie cart in his boyhood but I had no clue what it was!). I was wondering if you had any more information about what was kept in the side-bins on the cart? I'm guessing probably wood for the fire and maybe spare pies to be heated, but would love to know if you had some more information on it.

Thanks again for your work!

Cheers,

Ana

Hi Graham;

    I assume from that rig that when you got a pie they warmed it up for you? And I believe yer right. That sure looks like a lightweight Buggy rig for wheels and suspension.

     Our old Buggy,which we still used for Parades into the fifties was a four place landau.We got it used from the Local Undertaker when he bought a Motorcar Hearse and Family car.

      We kept it till the barn Burned in 1956. The prevailing winds caused the loss of two barns and  the house on Christmas morning . Tis Life! City living after that. I used to be the one to rig it out for rides because the Percheron Team had been my 4-H project! All of Thirteen years old!

   Oh, By the way, again, A gorgeous job my friend. Kevin and I will raise a Pint fer ye! Kevin is from Your fine land. I will ask him just where. He's been here awhile but he knocks the ladies dead with that Mellow Aussie Accent !

    I do have one question.Wher do you get your information? I would like to build an English Post Coach from about the time Patrick O'Brian wrote about. From the Master and Commander series. You know, There has been an H.M.S.Surprise R.C. Model Built and she sails very well.

     Again ,Thanks for pics of your beautiful Work! Tanker-Builder
