Are you confused? Good now let's get more confused. Naw,not really. Take the clamps off the two bottle sections you have siliconed together. Set aside. Now take your piece of wood. Sand the stern curves down smooth. Now take the upper ( Deck edge) areas and chamfer them at a forty-five degree angle. Make sure you get it straight.We don't want any waves! This would be noticeable!
Now take the third bottle and cut it in Quarters. This will constitute the stern deck. Take two quarters and fit them together till they line up with the edges of the stern you cut on the wood. Glue them together after marking the glue seam on the two pieces.
Now do the same on the bow. Now,Silicon them to the other piece you have already made. After clamping well, set aside to dry. Now here's where we really get serious. Do you want a full hull or a waterline hull? If you want waterline use only one four foot section of the 2"x4". Full hull means you have to attach to the bottom a board of these dimensions 1-3/4"x4"x3'10". This will help establish the stern shape below the waterline.
No, don't think I am crazy. When you have glued these pieces together sandwich style with the stem matching on both pieces then clamp well and set aside. Now Go build something in plastic. Catchya later! -Bye T.B.
