Another way to look at it- if the trains don't run; maske their scale fit the ship, like 1/96.

Or, 1/144 ships can work in an n scale module.

Rocketman I seen that in Two Harbors. That would be a great diorama to do. Lots of stuff going on there.

Don, the only scale conversion that I've found to be close is 1/48 and 'O' scale. But, that makes for a pretty large dio.

"Why do I do this? Because the money's good, the scenery changes and they let me use explosives, okay?"

I have been considering a diorama of a dock with a couple of reefers on a track and an old fishing boat tied up at the dock.  There is one of those boats mounted in a park at Two Harbors, MN, that I have extensively photographed.  Just trying to decide on a scale.  It would be handy to find a scale appropriate for the RR cars.

Hi Ya'll;

        Yup! Got suckered into building a "T" track module for our Museum layout ( The one that travels.) Well, I am not good at scenery or that stuff. Buildings? Yes! So I let myself be talked into building a module with a vessel in it.

      Modules are normally 24"x18" So being a Smart-Alec, I went double, 48"x18" You've seen some pictures some time back of one of my H.O scale Tankers. Well, she will be downsized to 1/160-"N" scale for the Module. Drawn up tight to the offloading port at a storage facility. 7 Storage tanks, a siding with Tankcars, and an office will all be there.

       Why? I just couldn't resist the challenge. Plus I have been recovering from a nasty bout with spinal problems( Geez , it's the Lumps gitting old!) This is strictly workbench time. Now, maybe other models that have been on hold and practicing Sending Photos will get done.    T.B.
