BraZ Resin 777-300 Conversion
Posted by fishmanz on Sunday, November 29, 2009 6:21 PM
Hi all,
Anyone out there know where I can pickup a BraZ 777-300 Conversion Kit. I have checked about 10 different sites that were linked on Braz's homepage but no such luck. I also have been checking ebay and no luck there either. I read somewhere that this kit is discontinued--anyone else hear that? If I can't find this is there a way I could modify say two 777 kits (cut the body a certain points etc. etc.) Maybe someone knows that Minicraft or Revell is going to make that version? Thanks.

If there is no conversion kit, than you could modify one B777-200 into a B777-300 by adding fuselage stretch: 5.30 meter(for 1/144 scale = 36.80 mm)  from section 43 forward of the wing;

                        4.40 meter (for 1/144 scale=33.30mm) to section 46 behind of the wing, and extra door above the wing. Don't forget to ad tail skid. The undercarriage has to extend 4mm to allow same rotation on take-off. See update Laurent Herjean, lherjean@noos.fr

You might try Airline Hobby Supplies, I believe they carry BraZ products.

I checked Airline hobbies for him when he first asked.  It's out of stock.  I haven't seen it anywhere else I looked either. Hannants didn't have it. Squadron doesn't carry Bra.Z and other than the couple European dealers who also don't have it, I can't think of anywhere else to look.
