Lindberg Stinson 108 Conversion.
Posted by Styrene Nut on Saturday, December 19, 2009 12:45 PM

Wanted to share some pics of my Lindberg Stinson 108 conversion,..Started with the Lindberg/Pegaso Stinson Station Wagon kit,..cut off, and re-shaped the tail. Windows were cut out and vacuformed with clear .015 Butyrate, Interior was scratchbuilt. As for the paint scheme, I was inspired by the 108 that appeared the the 1950's movie "This Island Earth". Please excuse me, but I got excited and photographed the model before I painted the navigation lights, this has since been corrected. Please overlook this,..Hope you like it otherwise! Dave.

Oh my, another nice one.  I've never found one of these kits, wish they would re-release it.

Outfreakingstanding, Dave!!!! Bow Down

You should submit some of these to the magazine's Reader's Gallery; your builds are exceptional and may even serve as a vehicle to convince the editors to feature more Civil Aviation subjects.

Thanks Frank!  But I have yet to master the fine art of photography,.and from what I read, FSM requires damn near perfect photos.  Maybe one day! Cheers! Dave.

Many thanks for the posting. When I was a kid in the fifties I thought the Wagon and the Voyager were the neatest lightplanes at the airport!  I was not even aware that Lindberg did a SW kit! I suppose they are super-rare now.
