727 1/144 need to procure some parts

Following up on this, I would also like to know if landing gear could be scratch built and if anyone has done it with thier models.

The eastern whisperjet scheme that i mentioned is one of the scheme's that i want to do. I'm also thinking about the delta widget scheme for it, so i'm in decision mode right now. Where can i get the shades of white for either paint job?

The reason for my schemes is I liked the airlines paint schemes from the 80's and early 90's and want model airliners from that era. I know the whisperjet scheme is from the 70's and eastern switched to an all metal in the 80's. That's pretty much what i want to do with the models i build. I've seen the pics of everyone else's builds and they are awesome!

Check Airline Hobby Supplies in North America for the decals you want. I've always had good luck with them.
