For all you heavy metal fans out there, catch a load of this:

Iron Maiden's custom painted 757-200 tour plane.  Click HERE for photos! Now, does anyone make a 757-200 kit and more importantly, does anyone make the decals?  I would love to have one of these on my shelf!

Ebay is about the best source for a 144 757 kit, although be aware that the minicraft offering has some major shape issues.     I think Braz makes a pretty good resin 757-200.

Here's a "Masterkit" 1/144 kit for $20 shipping included:: http://cgi.ebay.com/Masterkit-Boeing-757-200-/300429826266?cmd=ViewItem&pt=LH_DefaultDomain_0&hash=item45f30358da

I had seen decals somewhere on the 'net, but i haven't been able to find them again. I'll keep looking, this is one build that I'd like to do as well.

Sorry to be the bearer of bad news.  The plane is named Ed Force 1, TwoSix did the decal sheet and it is oop.  It shows up on Ebay from time time, the last set sold for over $30 + shipping. As far as the 757 kits go Id use either a Contrails resin kit or Welsh vac kit.  There is also a Russian company that makes what seems to be a nice 757, but Ive never seen it in person.  Aurthentic Airliners makes a very nice but pricey 757 also. In the end the vac and resin kits are easier to build and cheaper in the long run (assuming you replace the engines, nose and tail) and after all this, the wings are also different thickness.  Im not a rivet counter by any means and normally build OOB, but injection 757s arent good kits.

9x19mm thanks for the info.  I had actually found a set of the decals on eBay almost a week ago that was closing yesterday.  Tried to get them but ended up losing.  Those sold for over $22.....Oh well.

I hate that when someone sneeks in at the last minute and steals the win.  Angry
