Airlines that flew Fokker FVII?
Posted by Don Stauffer on Monday, May 31, 2010 10:47 AM

I intend to build the Zvesda Fokker FVII after I finish the Boeing 40B.  The kit only includes decals for the Southern Cross. I would prefer to build it in airline markings.  I believe there were US airlines that used that plane.  Anyone know what they were?  If not, how about European airlines.  Anyone know of aftermarket decals for that plane (kit is 1:72)

US Army too, and USMC. Don, you're going to have to put a 247 on your list.

Built the WB 247 many years ago. It got destroyed a couple of years ago, but I have a replacement kit in the stash now.

My father started at UAL in 1952. He gave me a photo I have somewhere of a 247 looking up the side from the tail. It had little pop-open vents below each cabin window that the passenger could operate... isn't that interesting?
