CMR B-40 decals
Posted by Don Stauffer on Saturday, June 12, 2010 9:05 AM

I thought I'd warn folks in case they don't notice.  If you are going to use the Scheme A paint scheme, they include the color seperation pin stripes.  The stripe for the fuselage are in one piece for each side. And, more important, the entire inside area is clear decal film.  That means you cannot adjust the position of the stripe. You would have to mask the seperation line perfectly!

I am cutting out the inside of the curve so I can adjust the position a bit.  Also, when the inside is cut out, I intend to cut each side into three pieces- the front curved piece and the long straight tops and bottoms seperately.  Also I am intending to cut out the interior of the vertical and horizontal empennage decals (yes, they are solid too).  It would be really hard the way they are to nestle the decal down in the hinge line.

All major parts/subassemblies are painted and I will start decaling this weekend.
