Most wanted aircraft
Posted by Don Stauffer on Wednesday, September 15, 2010 8:50 AM

A recent article in FSM was a poll of the most wanted aircraft.  Was disappointed to see that in all the aircraft catagories only one civil aircraft made it- the Convair series we have discussed a lot.

Does no one else want a decent 1:72 scale Ford tri-motor?

Or a 1/144 MD-11...  Oh well atleast theres the Welsh offering.  Maybe they will update it with pressure molded wings and engines.  But Im still hoping Zvezda will do it.

I'd LOVE a good Ford! Right now, I am attempting to convert the Revell "classic" to EAA's configuration, it needs an interior, cockpit, different engines, and most important, different windshield configuration. While we are at it, a Martin 404 would be nice, and a SAAB 340!

Have you flown a Ford lately?

I do, Don, but in 1/48. Smile  I tried to stuff the ballot box with several Golden-Age aircraft.

I'd like to have some more options in the DC-9 series (DC-9, MD-80, B-717) plus more decals.
