I will be starting the Williams bros. Boeing 247 shortly (picked up resin engines at HIDS Sat.). A book I have on the aircraft shows a later United paint scheme than the one for which kit decals are provided for. The scheme has the plane painted white, with big blue stripes, and a large "United Airlines" in red. Has any third party ever offered these decals? I will try to make my own if no one does, but would prefer to buy them if they are available.

Check with Greg at Draw Decals, he's a MN based business and might have been exhibiting at the show. I know he does at the other show on the east side of the cities. If he doesn't have any or any in the works, I bet he can direct you to who does.

I believe Micro Scale or Super Scale did a sheet many years ago. I think I've got one stored away for a future build, I'll see if I can find the sheet #

Thanks, Charlie. Is this the later UAL logo with the gold wings on the blue fuselage stripe?
Hi Don
It's the UAL shield with Gold wings, yes.
Great! Many thanks.
