Posted by Scratchbuilder725 on Tuesday, March 20, 2012 8:32 PM

I started this 1/24 cessna as a present for my girlfriend as she is training to get her pilots license. I found the dimensions and sketches online at cessna's website and found  reference photos online of her plane anyway i made 1/24 sketches with a ruler and pencil then i started to build it...heres the pics....

the vertical stabilizer made from 4 laminated sheets of .015 styrene sheet (cause im broke :) ) scribed with the rudder and panel lines

next the wing made of laminated sheet styrene and cambers i cut myself

taped down to dry and cure

finished wing and rudder

the rear fuselage made of rectangular tube 1/8 by 3/16 and ribs made of sheet styrene

the rear fuselage wrapped in a .015 styrene skin

the sides of the front fuselage and cabin floor made from square tube(under frame) and styrene sides and floor

ALL comments welcome!! and critiques!!! next painting and finishing touches!....

thanks for looking!!
