Hi! Great model! Where did you find the lowered flaps or did they come with the model? Link please?

Ok thank you. What did you use to make them because I just got the model and want to do the lowered flaps but don't know where to start... Thanks!

I used styrene strips and shaped them up to look real... LOTS and LOTS of reference photos are a must!

Just shape everything into little wings...Even spacing, take your time and look at zillion photos! Good luck!

That's just beautiful!  Hey - how did you do the flaps?  That looks awesome.

I always find that interesting - having worked in the airline/aerospace and defense industries for 30 years, you just never see an airliner with flaps dropped - in post-landing procedures, one of the first things they do is raise flaps.  Taxiing could damage them.  For years I've been a manufacturing engineer for 787 MTE (moveable trailing edge - flaps, flaperons and ailerons, and 777 wing tooling (now on the 777X program), and love seeing awesome representations of things normally not seen.  Very nicely done.

Thanks for sharing the pics!!

Cheers, LeeTree
