Boeing 737- 800 to P8 Poesidon
Posted by OMCUSNR on Friday, May 11, 2012 1:47 PM

Would like to transform a 737-800 into the Navy's new sub-hunter.  Is there any kits of the 737-800 in something larger than 144?  I'd like to get it in 1/72 or even 1/48.  So far I've only seen the Revel 144 on Google

TIA!

I think there is a Vac-formed 1/72 P-8 out there. I cannot remember who makes it, but I think I saw it on Hannats

I have been seriously considering getting it in spite of finding vac kits a huge PITA.

Excuse me.. Is that an Uzi?

I would like to find a 1/72 737myself, because I want to do the new Turkish AEWC platform. Saw it in person at Boeing field, and it's awesome!

This kit is from Welsh Models. It's multimedia: vacuum-formed fuselage, resin wings and stabs, metal landing gear.

Here's a link: http://www.welshmodels.co.uk/MT72-06.html

Thanks so much for the link.  98#s is a bit steep for me right now.  Maybe for my anniversary I can get my wife to let me get it.

Has anyone had any experience with Welsh Models?  How are the instructions? Fit?

Just awesome!  A 737 with hardpoints and a bomb bay!
