Tupolev TU-134A3 -Aviogenex 1:200 AEROPOXY resin

Just started work on 1:200 Tupoljev TU-134A3 in Yugoslav Aviogenex livery.

Parts removed from the casting film and blocks,

Fast and easy assembly , with few drops of  superglue,

And ready for coat of primer and paint,

Tupolev's airframe was sprayed with gray primer, then polished,

And first coat of white paint sprayed ,

Now, day or two of drying, and aluminium/silver will be sprayed.

I'm always ammazed by the cutting and sanding and seam work vac form requires to look so much like a 50 year old travelagent desk model. Remove afew elements and you can see where the Dc-9 influence is. I like watching you guys build your models......

Don't understand the DC9 comment as the 134 flew 19 months before the DC9 ,the DC9 design only being finalised 2 months before the 134's first flight.

Day or two becomes month or two...

Its time to finish this build, so, lets mask this Tupolev,

And some airbrushing, i prefer Revell 99 aluminium for metal finish on small models,

And now, waiting , and watching the paint dry .

More will follow soon ,
