Here is my favorite F-86 (see avatar). This is the 1/48th Hasegawa kit with a few modifications. The real aircraft, operated by the Air Spray cpmpany, was used as a target tug by the RCAF. The device below the port wing (inboard of the drop tank) and the blister on the lower fuselage beneath the speed brakes were part of the target towing equipment. There was added equipment on the dash for this equipment also. These items were scratchbuilt and added to the model.
The lettering was made from Woodland Scenics dry transfers and the checkered board tail markings were made from individually cut, square pieces of black decal sheet. Hope you enjoy.

I'm a little late on the thread, but that Sabre looks nice. Really clean and a nice choice of livery.
They sure look pretty in civilian clothes.
