Here is a build for a guy, she's a 1/200 Hasegawa B727-200. She's in Braniff Ultra Blue livery.

Thanks for looking,

Remember when they had all their planes painted in different bright colors?  I travelled a lot in those days and saw the whole rainbow series at the airports.   That was a really neat idea!

Great job on that model, Brad!

Absolutely stunning!

I second that!  Nice, as a matter of fact, this deserves a "most excellent"!  I'm guessing you separated the flaps and such?

I'd like to third the "stunning".

Looking at pic #1, thought maybe it was a shot of a full scale one.

Nice job on the 'Three-Holer'

My younger Brother flew the 727-200 for Braniff in the late 70's/early 80's

after leaving the Air Force.

Beautiful model AND photography.  How was the first shot done?  Was it hung and shot against sky, with threads cloned out, or was it shot against a flat backdrop and "green screened" and pasted against a stock sky?

"I'm from the government and I'm here to help" is the phrase that Ronald Reagan said were the most frightening nine words in the English language.

Subfixer, I would venture to say you know a lot about the government and how it operates in the ship repair business that is!  As a gov't. contractor, I've had a little background!

awesome paintwork - I love the slats and flaps work too (especially in 1/200 which would have been fiddly for my fat little fingers to do)
