There's not much in the way of conventional kits out there. There is a little in vacuform and/or resin, but that is a whole different skill set. I am currently working on a 1/72 Fairchild F-27 that flew around Alaska in the 60s. Vintage Flyer has the decals. vintageflyerdecals.com

I too enjoyed my time on the Saab. I miss it some days, 10 mile final at 10,000 feet and being cleared for the visual

I'd love a larger scale SAAB as well, had 7 great years on that airplane and would go back to flying one in a heartbeat! Like to see the "classics" as well, the EMB 110, Jetstream 31 and  Metroliner to mention a few!

Have you flown a Ford lately?

I believe I saw a kit somewhere (resin) for the Beech.  Have you looked at J-Bar hobbies?

I'm trying to find models of the airliners that I've flown so far in my short career, Beech 1900D, Saab 340, Embraer 145. Hopefully they make liveries of the airlines I've flown for.

There's a 1/72 scale kit of the Dash-8 by Hobbycraft, but it has some shape issues, particularly around the nose.

Keith - You might take a look through the Squadron's online catalogue, they usually have hundreds of kits available. I think I've seen regional Canadair 1:144 kits from Revell at my hobby shop.

Hi Folks,

Can anyone tell me if there are kits available of turboprop reginal airliners like the ATR-72 or the Dash-8.

the larger the better but beggers can't be choosers. Also I'm looking for Reginal Jets as well. I'm new to the airliner forum as I build mainly Helicopters but I also love building commercial jets and also where's a good source for airline kits and accessories? sorry for all the questions!! any help would be appreciated.

Keith
