I just joined the forum, and WOW the builds you guys do are fantastic!  I have been priced out of plastic for now so I picked up on paper (cardstock) models. This is my build of P-51C Excalibur III. The plane was once owned by Paul Mantz and is now in the Smithsonian. It is built of paper in 1/24 scale, enlarged from 1/33.......Rich

I don't really know very much (anything) about this type of modelling, but that's mighty impressive for paper!

Very nice!  Love racing planes.  I have a kit of a P-51 (styrene kit) racer that I intend to convert to "Precious Metal."  Found a proper four-bladed prop.  Will have to do a lot of mods to nose and cockpit, but looks doable.
