This one was a bear as the wings on it have some odd angles to emulate. All of the detail will be transposed from templates right down to the portholes still aways from being assembled .

As time goes on I'll be working the graphics layups so I can paint each of these. Again I mean not to take away from this forum but mean to share an old way of building models. Some of these do have kits in plastic available in the UK.....

I don't know what happened but here they are! The Voyager is the length of a yardstick tip to tip.

Anyone who knows this designer always gets thrilled by his visions. As I'm just a model maker I don't know much about the plane other than it was FAST!!! This is a one of a kind template. Once all the parts are made I will build another.... work out all angles square making sure symmetry is close.

The forums do not provide online hosting for the image. You need to find a place for that.  Any of the many web sites that host people's pictures will do, but a lot of us use Photobucket.  Then, you need to compose your message in the "rich formatting" mode.  There is an icon for a single frame of photo film in the tool bar.  When you click on that, a window opens up asking for the URL (internet address) of  the picture.  You then copy that in the window, and continue the rest of your post.

This model is unusual as it is actually a spacecraft. Since model making is like a blank slate reference photos are so necessary. At this stage I still have to set all the proper angles to make it look right.

This model is ready to begin transposing windows onto. The graphics on this is are or will be difficult. I believe many of you can identify this aircraft. As the rest of the models in this thread. What are they?

Hello Guys! It has been awhile since I've been around, and now that fall is here I'm thinking about getting back to my modeling. Ever since a trip to visit where Burt Rutans hangers I have wanted to put together a small collection of his designs. All of my models are 1/35 so as to have a presence when you walk into any room their in. I'll WIP photos for you as I go along. This is just one category of intrest I have.
