Finished my Beech D-18 (Twin Beech) this morning and took some photo backdrop pictures. I will take some eBay style photos later.

It's one thing (a big thing) to get a good alclad finish. It's another to get one on a model thats notoriously hard to get to go together.

Wonderful work, I love it- the model, the era, the pictures. We need a 247...

Modeling is an excuse to buy books.

Don,

Wow!  That is a beautiful construction!  Add some fog and you could swear...

Kinda reminds me of this (although it's an Electra 12A).

Don,  that is a nice picture of a beautiful airplane, but still haven't found the pictures of your model yet:)    Really nice job!  My favorite picture is the third one.  Showing off your modeling and picture taking skills,

and i'm not jealous; really, i'm not jealous---- much.                                   knox

Had a ride on one of those "leaping Lenas" way back when, with a bunch of good ol' Southern guys, from N. Carolina to Arkansas.  We had a bottle of Jack Daniels and a bottle of Beefeater, and by the end of the ride we were all good buddies and feeling no pain!  Great memories!

Nice model, Don!

Gimme a pigfoot, and a bottle of beer...
