Looks great Don!!!  I really like your background that you use for your photos.  She looks like you could climb right in and take her for a spin.

Wow! Love that red. Must've been difficult getting it in that hue.  Excellent works!

Now , Don !

Did you have to go and do red ? Now what color am I going to paint mine ? You usurped my favorite color , L.O.L. ! Naw ! - Don , She's gorgeous and I like the Gold touches on her . Is she gassed and ready to fly ?

That is just plain Testors Gloss Red (small square bottle).  I did have a real time getting the background on the tail decals (inkjet homemade) to match, and I didn't get it dead on.

The original tail decals (Stinson logo and registration number) were black, which didn't stand out on red, so copied them, changed image color to white, and printed them out.  Didn't quite match background color, but it isn't too bad.

That is beautiful! I saw that in a hobby shop, picked up the Staggerwing from AMT. How did it go together for an AMT kit? I also have found all the Roden Staggerwings but don't want to compare apples to oranges. Haha. Again beautiful Stinson

I am getting ready to do a "background" photo of the Reliant along with the Roden Staggerwing and the ICM Twin Beech.

The Reliant was a great build for an AMT aircraft kit, although the engine is not the best. I replaced it with a resin one from engines and things.  Very little flash, and fit was good except for windshield which took a little careful glue job.  Don't know about the AMT staggerwing, but the Roden kit was great, not the usual Roden job.  Just about the best Roden kit I have put together.  Interior is really nice.

Very cool. Yes I'm a huge Staggerwing fan so going to cut my teeth in the AMT kit and then tackle the Roden kits. Thanks for the info on the Stinson. I might have to pick that up.
