Took a shot of three of my more recent golden age classics today.
The planes, left to right are the Roden Staggerwing, the Round 2/AMT Stinson Reliant, and the ICM Twin Beech (D-18). All are 1:48

Those are swell. I'd love to see more of each. Is that a DC-3?
Modeling is an excuse to buy books.

GMorrison Those are swell. I'd love to see more of each. Is that a DC-3?
Nope, that is a Twin Beech (Beech D-18). Note the flat windscreen and the squarish fuselage profile.

Those are beautiful .Question though .You did the Stagger-Wing in Yellow .Why ? Are there more done in that color than Red , Blue or Turqouise ?
Not sure of the numbers, but I saw a yellow one and really liked it. So I picked the yellow. It seems to stand out more than red or blue.
round engines are a thing of great beauty
Oh, wow sir! Those are just beautiful, awesome colors!
