Started Embraer

I had started the A320 on a clean bench, only kit on bench.  I usually like to have two kits on bench, so I can work on second one while I wait for paint or glue to dry on first.  I started the Hasagawa Embraer E170 that I had recently received.  What a marvelous kit!

It has the centerline antenna molded as part of the fuselage, a feature I do not like, and had pinged Revell for doing that on the A320.  But in the case of the Embraer it will not be important.  The fuselage sides fit together perfectly!  I don't have any paint or primer on it, but I cannot feel or see any offset along the fuselage center seam, and cleanup will be absolutely minimal. If any offset is there, it must be a fraction of a mil, and the seam fit is very tight!  Lots of finely molded detail too!

Sounds good. Cut if off, put it where you wont lose it.

Modeling is an excuse to buy books.
