Their Bf109 kits are considered the most accurate if not a bit fiddly. Super detailed and very good fit. BUT, I don't know about their other kits.

In the 60's I would watch the tv show thunderbirds they always had some bizarre planes. The IIyushin-62 was one of them.I'm curious about these kits

Aaron Skinner built the 787 and he gave it a great review. Generally speaking, I've really liked their kits, esp. 1/72 armor. Good quality stuff.

FSM reviewed this kit in January, but I haven't read the article.

There's been no lack of crap IL-62 kits from the Eastern Bloc over the years; this looks like a really good one to me.

Modeling is an excuse to buy books.

I built the Zvezda 787 myself and loved the fit. It goes together very well. The only "downside" that I found with it was the insert for the windows in the passenger cabin. They stuck out a little too far and I ended up just puttying them closed and purchasing aftermarket decals. The engines are very detailed and have very small parts that are pretty fragile.

I built their 787 in a what-if scheme of the 437th Airlift Wing here at Charleston AFB since they share the field with Boeing and build 787's here.  The kit went together real well and was a pleasure to build.  ~Chris
