The balsa and sticck classic that i added red scallops and a spinner.I used Monokote because the tissue would not stand up to the masking tape.

I have several times used glossy card stock to cover a Guillows model of a metal airframe subject. It eliminates the faceting of covering it with tissue, silk or plastic film. I use gloss card stock to make it quicker and easier to prime and paint. You can even emboss rivets into the stock before gluing it in place, with a ball point pen.

Yes I have heard that amazing results can be achieved with card stock.There are companies that produce printed card stock models that are quite realistic.
