That would look awesome make sure you thin the white a little more then 2 % several light coats gloss white enamel can be a pain to spray

I'm re-starting the old Revell 1/144 E4B but doing it as a Northwest -200 instead. I had started it, messed something up so went back to square one. ;) Draw Decal had the scheme of the NW plane I came home from Desert Storm on so decided to model it.

I haven't built a airliner since 1978 its a lost skill set thats slowly coming back that dc-9 looks good in nasa colors

my compressor is now FUBR new one on order. New task to paint intake rings on those tiny engines 1st then mask
got my new compressor just in time .Now to place all of these tiny antennas along the top and bottom off fuselage then another coat of gloss white
getting all those little antennas in a row
Almost done with all the antennas next to work on the intake rings on the engines 1/200 scale got to love them
I done with those little antennas now another coat of gloss white
ok moving along on those engines . I also used tamiya masking tape for curves the 3mm size it works great to bad it's white in this case
there it is only three more to go

masking and painting lead edge wings, stabilizers and tail fin with model masters non buffing aluminum.
finished painting lead edge of stabilizers and tail. next the decals for top of flight deck and nose its see if it works
did both side stripes. wasnt as bad as i thought more to follow
almost done with decals a few more
The landing gear and engines in place need some clean up some small stuff here and there
the E4-B is completed all those tiny parts thank you tamiya cement !

thanks guys it was a different build but fun. my next one is hasegawa learjet in 1/48.
