Won't that be the same as the PV-1 kit, Don, and not new plastic?  I think there are cowl differences and of course the lack of eyebrow windows.  Lodestars were built with both Wright and Paratt & Whitney engines, like the DC-3 sore there is that to consider with respect to the cowls.  The Lodestar has always been more interesting to me than the military derivatives.

I see Revell is coming out with a 1:48 Ventura.  If it is a good kit, I am wondering if it could be converted to a Lodestar.  The rear lower fuselage would need to be heavily modified, and the nose windows would have to be filled in, but those mods look doable.  Anything else that would be more of a problem?
