Hi Everyone!

Maybe I shouldn't post this here.

We don't have a "Where Can I get" column like S.A.. I am specifically looking for two planes, unbuilt, complete. I will pay a fair price for them. The planes are Monogram's famous Civil duo. The Piper Tri-Pacer and the Cessna180 Float-Plane. I just need the Aircraft. I don't need the dead cat and the guy with his foot on it, or the figures that came with the Float Plane.

Just simply," The Planes,The Planes, Boss". Message me if you can help, Please?

I see them up on eBay from time to time.  Right now, there is this auction for an old boxing of the Tri-Pacer:

https://www.ebay.com/itm/Vintage-1957-Monogram-Piper-Tri-Pacer-PA22-Model-Airplane-PA-22/133410037532?hash=item1f0fdb9f1c%3Ag%3AbiAAAOSwKW5esaLC&LH_Auction=1

I don't know if your definition of a fair price includes that seller's asking price.  To me, it's more of a kit collector's price, not a builder's price.  Anyway, I hope that helps.

a PS-I have no connection to that auction or the seller.  I do have a search for "monogram aircraft" and it showed up there.

The bigger the government, the smaller the citizen.

You can't have my Pacer!

I picked it up at a show flea market about a year ago.  I found it was actually a very nice kit for its day.  And you know how much I like lightplane kits.

Well, Yeah!

I thought those two were the nicest Civil birds I ever Built. The real ones were just as neat. A J-3 and the Cessna. The Cessna had to be re-engined after I brought her down from Alaska! She only had half of her instruments and two jugs were damaged beyond repair.

Floats leaked too. Imagine a barn find car and you'll have an idea what she looked like. One of the few times the Missus fussed. The ground transport cost as much as a flyable one would have cost.

Hello Mrchntmarine:

S.A. is the initials for the sister publication to this one. It is known as Scale Auto!
