Searching for Revell 1/144 Airbus A319
Posted by Gregor on Wednesday, June 22, 2022 3:01 PM

I've scoured the Internet without success, looking for a Revell 1/144-scale Airbus A319.  The kit evidently has been discontinued, and every vendor I found lists it as "Sold Out."  I managed to find Air Bhutan decals for it, and those are on order, as is Aaron Skinner's book Modeling Airliners.  I particularly wanted to build this kit because my wife's and my 2015 tour of  Bhutan, having arrived there from Calcutta on an Air Bhutan A319, was one of the most thrilling and delightful ones we've made since we retired.  Does anyone have an unbuilt kit he would be willing to sell?

No luck finding a 319 but there's pleanty of 320s around.  From what I've read the 320 is a stretched 319 - by 12' 3".  Might be a quick conversion.  Here's one done on Britmodeller

Thanks,

Many thanks, John.  If worse comes to worst, I'll give the conversion a try.  --Greg

I have an A-319 kit that I could give you. I put two part epoxy in the window openings, and I have it in a freezer baggie, but that’s all I’ve done to it. If your interested, let me know. I‘m not sure exactly how PM’s work, but I will keep a lookout for one. Or, since there isn’t any money changing hands, replying here should be ok.

Yes.  Lots of decals for the Airbus A319, but no kits, at least the last time I checked.

Mr. Knox--  Please let me know what the postage is.  I'll mail you a check or pay you via PayPal, whichever you prefer.  Again, thanks your offer.  --Greg
