DC-9s have two engines on the back of the fuselage. 727s have the 3rd enging intake above the fuselage. DC-10s, L1011s have the 3rd engine mounted just above the fuselage in the tail section.

we're modelers it's what we do

Does that have an engine as part of the tail assembly?

Nice job with the paint, it really made the model. I have another DC-9 in the stash that someday will get built ...

I really like those 1/200 Hasegawa kits.  But they're almost all 737s...

Thanks,

John

Beauty Eugene.  I assume you had to paint the blue - did you do the fade?  Looks fantastic.  I've got the 1/44 Zvezda -8 in the stash, then I'm done with the really big ones :)

Thanks,

John
