Yup, I know quite a few opera singers myself actually, I almost forgot the stereotype :P

That's why I was going to look for a bond-girl in a long dress. Guess it could be any girl in a long dress...

I'm thinking that I might have to model it all myself, which might be fun.

Just remember this.  Most non musicians dont necesserially make the distinction.

The steriotype of an opera singer, with the viking garb, and being fat (for female) only really applies to the operas of Wagner and his ring cycle of operas (also the offical music of Nazi Germany (we stole Beethoven from them))

The majority of opera singer are neither viking, nor fat.  So, take that into account, any figure that is singing, will work for an opera singer.

The figure is a 54mm figure, about half the size you're loking for. Try the same kind of search at Colorado miniatures. You'd be looking for 120 mm figures. There are a lot fewer options and they tend oto be lot more expensive. Unless you are willing to do major surgery, there really aren't any multi-pose figures other than the old 1/32 Airfix multipose sets.

Remember, if the women don't find you handsome, they should at least find you handy.

awesome, I find the site to be really hard to find things/browse. Is that figure posable and how big is it?

I'll be making book ends out of them, so I'd like them to be about 4-5" tall.

Thanks, I'll check it out.

I was talking to the wife, and came up with half a plan. Get a spy or 007 figure in a tux and modify it so he has a trumpet instead of a gun :P And if it's convenient, if he has a red dressed bond-babe, make that into the opera singer...

I don't think you'll find an opera singer, per se, but go to The Red Lancer and search for civilian. Then try bugler. You may need to do some modifications.

Howdy,

I don't do many figures other than ones that come with planes, so I need some help finding some. I'm looking for a standing trumpet player and opera singer. What are some sites that I can look through that might have something?
