Thanks, Stik!

That seated pilot looks great; nice to have head and pose options, and the price is right Thumbs Up [tup]

Just checked it out and the generic pilot looks pretty good... the Gabresky one is spot on, but methinks would be out of place with my kit unless he swapped birds with Maj. Chester Van Etten... Big Smile [:D]

Too bad they don't offer ordinary ground crew figs as well...

Ultracast just came out with a figure of Gabby Gabraski  in resin. I think they have another generic WWII US fighter pilot as well. Are you looking for standing or seated in the cockpit? If seated, there is a new line called Master Details, I think, that has several seated WWII pilots in 1/32 scale. Also check Verlindens line up. Their 1/35 stuff runs on the large size and I am pretty sure they also make a USAAF pilot figure or two.

Hey all...

I'm hoping to find a resin generic US pilot figure in either of these scales, but most places I've checked into as far as 54mm (roughly 5' 9" in 1:1) pretty much deal with ACW and earlier figs...

I'd like to find a decent pilot to go with my P-47D since the supplied one doth sucketh greatly IMHO, and would prefer a standing one anyhow for a diorama display. Any help would be greatly appreciated!
