Possibly too conceptual.  I'm not quite sure what's going on here.

Question [?]

I'm guessing that discharged German soldier is about to see mama...

...yes, soon they will discover that they both survived (hope they're not in the russian zone)...

That's my point.  No one should have to be "guessing" what's going on here.  The vignette ought to tell us that and answer our questions.

Well.....he did say it was a work in progress !  Sign - Oops [#oops]

Yeah, they need a squirt of Dullcoat, for sure... I'd sand the shoulder marks and collar tabs off the jacket to get it to look "civilian" as well... Or finish it as a uniform jacket, and add an envelope close by, perhaps on his bag, depicting the discharge papers... If indeed the idea is that the war is over.  Kinda vague there... A nice touch would be perhaps a notice on the fountain stating such, or a newspaper, something... Fill the story in a bit more, Barruel...

Is it May of '45? Inquiring minds want to know...

I like it, I really do.  Only thing, figures look to glossy.

Hy guys.

This is my latest "play". I called it:

"An instant to happiness" - A drama in 4 Acts and almost 360 degrees.

1st Act - Despair

2nd Act - Hope

3rd At - Recognition

4th Act - An Instant to Happiness

This is still a Work in Progress. I hope to finish it during the next couple of days!

The "stage" is from Italeri and the "actors" are from Preiser.

I hope you enjoy it!
