1/72 WH Camo vs. SS Camo (IMG)
Posted by Panzer_Grenadire on Tuesday, October 7, 2008 5:05 AM

Wanting to test my new camera and what it knows to do, I chose two figures from the set I am working at present and I hope to be able to post its review next week.

For those that did not recognize the figures, those are from 1/72 Preiser's set entitled Military Police.Gurads.

The figure with WH camo is the standard pose of the set while the one with Waffen SS camo is a conversion of the same pose. I had more conversions of this pose, even with better WH camo, but I selected this one due to the simililarities of the poses.

Inspite the opinion that WH camo is easier to paint in the 1/72 scale than the Waffen SS, I think that also WH camo is pretty difficult to do, especially the tinny lines making me to lose a lot of time.

Here I try to depict Wehrmacht 1944 Tan-Water pattern while the Waffen SS pattern is Autumn/Winter Oak Leaf.

Figures are not ready, still miss the buttons of the Zeltbahn, but I was very anxious to try the camera and I played a little with it.

I hope you will enjoy these photos andy any suggestion or comment is highly welcome, not being too late to correct eventual mistakes before posting them in the review.
