Bushy Run 1763

Here is the vignette in a box, Bushy Run, sculpted in 54mm by Alan Ball for Michael Roberts. This was painted as a commission and will be delivered at the Long Island show this weekend. I added groundwork and the stump in the foreground to fill out the base. It is painted in acrylics.

Oh, wonderful!  Do you know where he got the kit, Im always after revolution era up to post WWI era figure kits, especially the americas.  I really like what you did.  The thing that stands out the most to me, makes it look the most realistic, are the little white flowers on the patch of grass they look so realistic, amazingly well dont, how did you do it?

your client is gona be HAPPY

Thanks.

The kit is available from Military Miniatures Warehouse.

The flowering grasses were an after thought. I believe they are by Silfor and I got a sample pack from the same dealer at a show. John doesn't seem to carry the line any more but you can find large mats at Scenic Express

The stump definitly gives something to the foreground that would have been missing otherwise, nicely done

Very nice indeed, if I ever get into figures I would go for French and Indian War subjects.
