Some figures
Posted by BMac007 on Monday, November 17, 2008 11:01 AM

Started getting back into putting some garage kits together - havn't done anything in a couple of years due to being far to busy with "other" stuff. Anyway I was going through some of my yet to build kits, seeing what I have and brusshing up on some skills. Here are some pics of stuff that I have done...

Gorro from Mortal Combat

The Joker

Darkness (from the movie Legend) -

Samurai -

Nicely done on all counts. I really like the skin tones on the Gorro figure. Thanks for sharing these and welcome to FSM.

Thanks for the kind comments and the welcome guys!

I do most of my skintones with an airbrush and in the case of Gorro, lots (and lots) of washes in between the highlights. I've always found that alternating between highlights and then toning them down with a wash works wonders on larger scale figures - lets you build up the color slowly.

Very very good!  Welcome to the forums as well.  I really, really like the work you did on the Joker's teeth, very well done they look real (and the gums make him look just nastily evil.)
