Not bad. The paint looks a bit thick. Did you thin it because Vallejo is designed to be applied in multiple very thin layers. Go to the Vellejo website then click on "Model color" for a tutorial on using their acrylics.

Remember, if the women don't find you handsome, they should at least find you handy.

US Tanker - Ardennes 1944, Bust 1/35

I just got the Vallejo Flesh Paint Set and decided to find a model in my spare part box. I found an old sprue from a Tamiya 1/35 Sherman 105mm tank, where one of the tankcrew was only the upper part.. I took him and painted him. I think the skin came out so nicely (My best so far, but far from perfect...) so I countinued painting the rest of him, built a base using matchsized sticks and white glue. the top is made out of plaster... My first bust and my best looking model so far. Altough the colour selection isn't accurate, it wasn't that I aimed for either. And a pretty light highlight made that cold effect, placing him in the ardennes

It was also the first thing I've completed in a weekend.. Started friday, endedtoday actually. 07:15, just before I headed to school...

And myself, picture taking in the lamp reflection and look at the pupils... little sleep this weekend for sure!

And scale. A Zippo lighter that is.

Comments and questions appriciated!

Thanks,
