For Polish tankers, use British tanker figures. The Royal Tank Corps badge is removed from the beret and replaced with a silver Polish eagle. With the 4th Armoured Brigade in Italy, they also wore their scorpion patch on the left side of the eagle.

Rank ingisnia was worn on the epaulets and under the beret's eagle, don't use British rank insignia! (edit: rank insignia are usually in silver with silver edging on the epaulets):

Good references would include for North West Europe:

and for Italy - Concord's:

My understanding is that the Poles were equipped completely along Brit lines, uniforms included. The only way to tell them apart would be by uniform insignia- patches, beret badge, etc.

1/35 Polish Tanker Figures??
Posted by WarHammer25 on Friday, January 30, 2009 3:24 PM

Does anybody make any Polish tanker figures in 1/35? I am building a Polish M4A1 76mm that I would at least like to include a commander figure with.

Also, if there is no available Polish figures, how hard would it to be to convert a British figure? From what I have seen, the Polish on the Western Front used British equipment and uniforms.
