Try to list your choices in decending order of quality, and detail.

I'm partial to Dragon but Master Box is comming out with new and varied kits. I never built any resin figures so I'm not familar with them I just bought the Master Box British para's #2 (with the glider pilot) they seem pretty good kinda soft plastic and not much accessories.

Uhh ... Yeah. What he said...Big Smile [:D]

I don't do a lot of 1/35 unless it's a figure to go with a veh or something, but some of my favorites, but in no order as I always hack them up and mix them anyway) are; (granted some of these are actually 120mm ... sue me)

Blast Models, Alpine, Verlinden, Dragon, Jaguar, Airborne Miniatures, & MIG Productions

Maybe in this forum, but there is a ton of modelers who do other periods, too:  Napoleonic Wars; American Civil War; European medieval period; Ancients, including Rome, Greece and Egypt, among others.  But some of the manufacturers various posters have listed also cover those periods, too.

Andrea is probably one of the biggest sellers, for many of those periods.

Ain't gonna say who's best... I will tell ya what I use the most of. Tamiya.

Then some Dragon, Italeri, whatever's on sale..

I don't use very many figures as they come out of the box, except drivers and such, pilots, etc; but even those guys get modified with diffent heads, arms, etc..

After I build a figure, I couldn't tell you with any certainty what figures were used in the construction, unless I'm taking notes.. Usually I open a box and just start cutting arms, legs, torsos, and gear off the sprues, then throwing them all in their respective bins...

If I need to go to a hospital in the US, and the paper says "Surgeon: Mike Thompson", I'm for sure running to the coast and rowing back here before you can say "Next!"  Laugh [(-D] Make a Toast [#toast]

Anyways, I haven't touched Resin yet.. But Dragon do indeed have great figures. Tamiya has some..  And I am actually at the moment learning this fankenstein kitbashing of figures..  It really helps! Smile [:)]
